Block books (coursecode: BB-01-23)

 

A block book is a very good structure to collect pages who are printed on one side and a beautiful way to present the content.

This construction is without sewing.

You will make two variations of a blockbook.

The first book will have a open spine of cloth and paper on back-and frontside.

The second book will have an all-over illustration on de board pages, a hardcover with cloth and paper and a attractive opening on the spine.

Because of the hinge- construction of both structures the books will open perfectly.

Participants take their own content to the workshop (pictures, postcards, decorated paper etc.) so the books will become very personal.
