Teach the teachers, Paul Johnson, 2016
Bindery Wilgenkamp is organising an inspiring workshop Pop-ups on Monday 26 September 2016, in collaboration with Artcenter De Blauwe Schuit in Hoorn.
A Teach the Teachers workshop by Paul Johnson, pop-up specialist from the UK.
Paul developed a method specially for teachers in primary schools to make pop-ups with children of several classes and ages.
The special goal is to activate children to write and draw their own story and make it special by making a pop-up book for this story.
You only need pieces of paper and scissors, available in every school.
The Pop-ups workshop of 26 September responds to the theme of the ‘week of the childrens book’ in the Netherlands with the theme ‘Grandmother and Grandfather’ and the slogan: ‘For ever young!’
A good motive for teachers to use this workshop with pop-up books during this special week of the Childrens book.
