This workshop will learn you the trics & tips of making the Elbum, an inventive album structure which holds its pages by gripping them into a series of narrow pockets.
The Elbum is one of the ‘Bookbinding out of the box’ structures developed by Benjamin Elbel.
This bookstructure gives you the oppertunity to change the content without any problem.
A treasure of paper engineering, this project is also a great introduction to Concertina folding by hand.
A perfect book to keep and present photo’s, poems, cards or use it as a sample book.
During this workshop you will make two different books.
